Cell phone Radiation

Cell phone Radiation

Cell phone radiation is important in today's society. Cell phone use is increasing daily but also is the risk of cell phone radiation damage. Cell phones have become part of our culture. World wide cell phones are a ideal form of communication from young to old. But even though cell phone use is the major of communication today, the concern for serious damage such as tumors, cancers, and other illness has been become a relevant topic. By the cell phones use they automatically need to use electromagnetic fields and radiation which causes harm and controversy. Even though we have adapted to the comfort and use of cell phones the harm has been overlooked and ignored. Now the effects are taking place and this issue has expanded. Through out the existence of cell phones, people have researched and studied that the effects of cell phone radiation are much more harmful than what people think. But the technology in this day and age have blinded people from the reality that cell phone radiation is dangerous. Over a 10 year period studies have shown that cell phone radiation causes tumors, brain damage, and may cause cancer. Studies have also showed that smart phones today are the strongest contenders for the affect of a person through radiation.

The iPhone's, HTC Evo, Blackberry's are all incredible technological advances but also are dangerous experiments. These phones use a lot of radiation due to their high power features such as wireless connection and applications. Also they are competing with faster internet connection meaning these phones need more radiation to use faster internet connection. Smart phones in the market today have roughly the same amount of radiation some more than others. Also scientist and doctors have warned people about the dangers of cellphone radiation and advise everyone who owns or purchases a phone should read the instructions and manuals. Also the phone should not be put around the cranium area it would be preferably better if headphones were used. Reporters, researchers, scientist, have looked in depth into this hot debated topic. Some researchers have stated that through out the years the cell phone topic has been found true in some cases in which people do get sick and develop serious health issues, meanwhile others have declined this statement saying it is false even thought radiation may cause damage but the percent of radiation released by a phone hasn't shown real danger.

One of the concerns is that cell phone radiation can lead to serious sickness. In the 1970's they were concerns about magnetic fields from power lines causes leukemia to children. But on the other hand epidemiological studies found no relationship between cancer and the power lines. The FDA released a statement saying "the available scientific evidence does not demonstrate any adverse health effects associated with the use of mobile phones. how ever this does not dismiss the possibility that cell phone radiation may cause harm if placed near the brain for a long period of time.

The following chart illustrates that these numbers are in fact realistic and show that cellphone radiation is a actually concern is being studied:

In conclusion, cellphone radiation has been proven over the years to be a concern to many individuals. Cellphones are implemented in our society for a long time but their is a way to keep them in use in a much safer matter. People have ignored this issue and it is clear that cellphone radiation is relevant to sicknesses, and other dangers that lurk around the problem. People believe that cellphones should be banned and that cannot happen because not enough proof and danger has occurred for that to even be considered. Instead the society should be smarter about their cellphone use, for example, if you talk on the phone for 4 hours try to talk for 3 or buy headphones. Small contributions like that would make a huge difference to our environment and your own health. Cellphones cannot be replaced or dismissed but they can be safer and better for everyone.
