Cellphone Radiation Experience 11/23/10

In this cellphone radiation project I learned thing which i never payed much mind to. I could have never imagined how dangerous cellphones can actually be. Amazingly I have read incredible articles and interviews which captivate the idea of cellphone radiation. this experience was surprising because of the abundance of information that I was able to obtain. The way I wrote this essay was in a form for the reader to see the process and discussions people have on this topic and I tried to show some clear examples to be able comprehend how cellphone radiation work. Pictures and charts are incorporated into the text to show the reader or audience a visual component which demonstrates levels of radiation, physical damage that may occur. Moreover, me as a learner and researcher learned that I can truly dig up information to be able to back up my observation and opinion. I took this one step at a time as I tried to explain much as possible the views of professionals ad from their opinion and research i analyzed the data and came up with my own conclusion. I wondered if cellphone radiation was really dangerous, or if this problem really was in the eyes of scientist and due to my information it was clear that this is a dilemma. I learned that cellphone radiation is a real issue in which we must pay attention to and handle cautiously. I feel that this topic is intriguing so I was able to focus and find information which I found interesting. I learned that topics dealing with society and/or politics intrigue me hence why in college I plan to study Political Science.

Barack Obama's Back-To-School Speech Reaction 9/17/10

President Barack Obama's speech was very moving towards me. It shows how real even a president can be even when most of the time he is looked as a almost perfect individual. He explained how he believes the future of America is sitting in our classrooms today. President Obama states: "And maybe some time in the 21st century, it’s going to be one of you that’s standing up here speaking to a group of kids as President of the United States". President Obama firmly believes Education is the key to success, and without education and using your full potential in school many accomplishment with be left in blank, unfortunately wasting your "God-given" talents and not achieving what we have the capability's to achieve. Also President Obama stated: "Or maybe you’re a senior, and you’re anxious about the whole college process" and I can relate to that because hopefully in June I can graduate and make it into a good college and succeed. My reaction to Obama's speech was a positive one because I feel that this is it I must put forth my best effort to not stay more behind but move forward and be able in the future to help my country for the best not the worst.
